Recognition and CPD |

This
programme is a recognized qualification for promotion in the medical
laboratory science profession by the Hospital Authority, Hong Kong. |
|
Although this programme is not recognized as the SOLE and PRIMARY degree
by the Hong Kong Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLT) Board for
registration purpose due to the total number of hours required (the Hong
Kong MLT Board requires more hours than a part-time two-year programme),
it can be used to supplement or strengthen any application with a degree
which is not majoring at medical laboratory sciences. |

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Accreditation
|
|
According to the CPD credit award guideline, registered medical
laboratory technologists who participate as a student in this programme
will earn a maximum of 12 credit points. In order to earn
all the 12 credit points, students must finish the whole programme and
fulfill relevant attendance requirement of this programme.

Furthermore, this programme is on the list of quotable qualifications
for Medical Laboratory Technologists. |
