The applicant must hold a good honours degree of :

Bachelor of Science in medical laboratory sciences; OR |
| |
2. |
Bachelor of Science in biomedical science; OR |
| |
3. |
Bachelor of Science with major in biomedical science
or other related disciples; OR |
| |
4. |
Be a registered medical laboratory technologist Part II or Part I.

Note: Applicants with degrees awarded by overseas universities by
distance learning or by completing a curriculum of short duration may be required to provide
an assessment report from the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic & Vocational Qualification (HKCAAVQ)
on the level of qualification obtained.
